ARNOLD GETS IN THE RING WITH ALI

Arnold will be in New York today where he and former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali will team up to co-chair "TIME TO GIVE.", a charity auction celebrating the 125th anniversary of Audemars Piquet, one of the truly great watchmakers in the world. TIME TO GIVE is a live auction of special watches, signed by celebrities, with 100% of the proceeds being divided between The Inner-City Games and The Muhammad Ali Center.

According to www.schwarzenegger.com Arnold will also promote T6D on The Today Show and ABC's Monday Night Football.

Arnold met Ed Pressman at a health-food restaurant on the Sunset Strip. Ed persuaded Arnold, that he could play the famous Cimmerian. Arnold later signed a five-picture deal with Paramount to do a series of costume epics featuring warrior-hero Conan. (date not confirmed)

Rick Wayne pulbished an Arnold related book Muscle Wars : The Behind-The-Scenes Story of Competitive Bodybuilding. In the book, Wayne also described famous tricks and tactics that Arnold used to win Mr. Olympia contests! Needless to say, this book is out of print and extremly rare.

Arnold attended the First Annual Schwarzenegger and Jerry Rice Dinner and Auction - held in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area -Silicon Valley Capitol Club Athletics. VIP Reception was 6:30pm and dinner at 7:00pm. At this event, there was also a special Silent Auction with some fantastic auction items: Vacation Packages to Hawaii and Las Vegas, an autographed Planet Hollywood Leather Jacket, an autographed jersey signed by Jerry Rice, an autographed leather bound script of "Terminator 2", a "walk-on" role in the hit sitcom "Suddenly Susan", and more.

According to www.upcomingmovies.com, Warner Brothers has plunked Arnold's Collateral Damage down at August 17th, 2001, just a week after the similarly-titled DreamWorks film, Collateral. Expect one of these movies to get a title change.

Arnold went to Japan with an entrance problem (the star's ID had previously been stolen). Arnold Schwarzenegger was allowed into the country without a passport, but the real scandal came out months later, when the whole story was written. The star's ID had previously been stolen but Japanese justice minister Shozaburo Nakamura also kept Arnie's advance entry documents as a souvenir rather than passing them through official channels - a move which led to his dismissal. "I would have been killed by my wife and daughter, who are fans," pleaded the politician in defence of his actions.
