Maria and Arnold

In 1986, Arnold Organized Maria's first married birthday party in their Los Angeles home by hiring the Vienna Boys' Choir.

Ten years later, in 1996, Arnold was on Oprah Winfrey Show live via satellite to promote Jingle All the Way, while Maria had birthday. Great anecdote from Jingle All the Way set came out as told by Sinbad: "Arnold grabs the woman's butt and says, 'Sinbad, stop that! I want to apologize for him.' The woman says, 'Oh, it's okay!' You had to watch [Arnold] at all times."

Hollywood Reporter Trade Paper reported that Arnold negotiated about film version for TriStar Pictures, a remake from an old ('70s) TV serie S.W.A.T.. The script would be edited to fit as an Arnold's action flick. I still don't have a clue what happened to this project!

Los Angeles Times announced a list of the top 10 movie lines of all time, as determined by a group of critics: 4. "I'll be back." (Arnold Schwarzenegger, "The Terminator") 3. "It's not the men in your life that counts. It's the life in your men." (Mae West, "I'm No Angel") 2. "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine." (Humphrey Bogart, "Casablanca") And the winner: 1. "Bond--James Bond." (Sean Connery, "Dr. No")

Predator and Jingle All The Way were released on DVD. The new Predator DVD is on the way (2000/12/26) and will feature both 5.1 Dolby Digital and 5.1 DTS audio tracks. It will replace existing version and will have anamorphic widescreen transfer! That's all good news to me, but Predator deserves a decent special edition. Don't you agree?

Arnold with a few other stars (AFI Life Achievement Award winners Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood, Jack Lemmon and Sidney Poitier — plus James Woods, James Garner, Chevy Chase, Andy Garcia, etc.) competed in the first AFI Golf Classic, at Riviera Country Club, with Yorkin chairing the tourney. Arnold also reportedly crashed his golf car down the hill into Eastwood's car, which then bumped into Stallone's.

We all want to see a huge box-office opening weekend for Arnold's T6D! So here's my idea how to help:

Do you trust IMDB? I know that many people check the film's ratings before they go and see the movie (at least I do in my country)! If the rating is below 6, there's usually no way that I'll go and see this pic. So I'd like each and every Arnold fan to post at least one vote (10 of course) for The Sixth Day even before the film premieres. I know it may sound bad, but a few great votes at the right time could make a few extra bucks at the box-office. It's your choice...

You can vote here!
