Arnold talked about his decision to go for a new manager:

"After careful consideration over a number of weeks I determined that William Morris is best equipped to handle my many areas of involvement, not only in the motion picture arena, but also in business, sports-related and charitable activities," Schwarzenegger said in a statement.

NY Post Online reported:
As soon as the current issue of Premiere is off the stands, Arnold will have his lawyer Marty Singer sue over its story, "Arnold the Barbarian," which alleges he's a serial groper and adulterer. Asked what the wait was about, an insider said, "We don't want to bring any more attention to it and help sell more copies."

The Hollywood Reporter devoted 76 pages to Arnold and his accomplishments - especially International Star of the Decade award by NATO/Showest Studios.

Full page tributes to the Oak were made by Warner Brothers, Universial Studios, Columbia Pictures, Porker Public Relations, Turner Pictures, 20th Century Fox, the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, TriStar and International Creative Management. Even the staff of Schatzi on Main congratulated him, but perhaps the tribute that he enjoyed most was from his own office staff. It reads:

"Roses are red,
violets are blue,
star of the decade?
So... vat elz ist nu?

Love from your staff,
Ronda, Lynn, Mike,
Vito, Anne, George,
Annie, John, Nancy, Eva."

IMDB News: A Michigan jury on Tuesday awarded Detroit high-school teacher Brian Webster $19 million in his copyright-infringement suit against 20th Century Fox, whom he accused of stealing his idea for the 1996 movie Jingle All the Way, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Not so funny anymore!

Although "Ed McQueen" was credited as the writer of the film, the lawsuit contended that the name was used to hide the identity of the real writer, a Fox script reader, Randy Kornfield. Fox said that it will appeal.
