Saturday, April 28, 1990 Arnold's directorial debut Tales from the Crypt: The Switch aired on HBO television. Arnold directed an episode about an old man who just wasn't good enough for his girlfriend, so he spent two million dollars to transplant the head of the man she really loved. Gut he still wasn't good enough for her, so he spent another two million to transplant his torso and arms. Still no good, he spent his last two million to transplant his legs. Friday, April 26, 1996 Exactly 10 years after their own wedding, Arnold and Maria were invited to the wedding of former gymnastic great Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner in Bukarest (Romania). The church ceremony was next day. Also invited were Hillary Clinton, prinz Albert of Monaco and Juan Antonio Samaranch. Romunian president Ion Iliescu welcomed the happy couple.

Monday, April 23, 1998 Arnold once again graced the small screen with his presence by appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He was in usual top form, ready with a barrage of jokes to every question Jay asked. Jay even called him "Arnold Dangerfield" at one point. He mentioned his new movie briefly, saying that to prepare for battle with Satan, he should probably observe the IRS auditors' tacticts. He was more intent on supporting his fellow Austrian pal, Hermann Meyer, who had a big crash skiing the Olympics, but came back and "terminated the mountain."
